Another interesting week within our workshop, Digbeth Birmingham, from making miniature lighting for an animated film to manufacturing reproduction French Lights, large 900 mm lights and converting halogen to LED I enjoyed last week because of the variation, copper and brass plating, laser cutting, polishing and first time experiencing an animation studio and wow animation is amazing. The amount of skill involved is mind blowing and the way they bring it together and life was a great lesson.
During the process of the French lighting we visited our wire forming manufacturer, another great experience from another Birmingham Manufacturer.
Finishing these 900 mm LED suspended lighting, the drivers will be located 20 metres away for maintenance. The LED chips and drivers are Tridonic and we are omitting 15000 lumens.
These units are going to be polish, plated and converted to LED using Xicato chips and Harvard Drivers.
Looking forward to next week we have another interview for a new position we have available and lots more projects to complete. A large Brass Barrel, seating, proto-typing for the launch of our own range and Concrete Signage ....
